A place of legend!

If you go to Palma’s Diocesan Museum, you can see (and I’m not kidding you) the famous Na Coca dragon. You think I’m pulling your leg? No way. It’s there, stuffed and in a glass case. It’s a couple of metres long–or maybe a few hands long–because the famous dragon wasn’t really a dragon but a little crocodile that must have reached the port of Palma on board a ship from foreign lands. And while you’re in the museum, have a look at the reredos of Saint George by a 15th century painter called Pere Niçard. In addition to seeing the knight who killed a dragon with his spear, you can see what Palma must have been like in bygone times...
