Campanet

A place of legend!

When it rains heavily in the area close to Tomir peak, an almost magical phenomenon occurs. In the holm oak wood of Gabellí Petit estate in Campanet, water begins to gush out of the ground, transforming the woodland into a marvellous enchanting setting. The enigmatical beauty of this phenomenon has given rise to mysterious local legends. Some say the water comes from the Iberian Peninsula, from the Pyrenees, because leaves of trees have been found that only grow there. This is hard to believe, but we all know that anything is possible in fairy tale worlds! If, one day, you visit the place, perhaps you will catch a glimpse of the fairies’ mantles lying on the ground amid the holm oaks and hear the sound of the bells that adorn their arms.
