A place of legend!

There’s a road that links the town of Sant Llorenç des Cardassar to Sant Miquel Oratory in Campanet, although the two are very far apart. According to legend, this was the work of a very wealthy woman from Sant Llorenç nicknamed Na Potons. She was a fervent devotee of the statue of Christ at Campanet Oratory. To get there without leaving her properties, she bought a road from Sant Llorenç to Manacor and on to Petra and Santa Margalida, then to Muro and Sa Pobla, across Rafal de Búger and up to Sant Miquel in Campanet–all so that she could go and hear mass in the little church as she pleased.
