According to legend...

Long ago in a cave in Bellver Castle woods, there was a witch called Joana. She would often invite her friends round, leading to no end of a racket. One day, a young hunchback called John was passing through the wood. He had gone to collect a bundle of firewood and he was returning home when he heard the witches. He went into the cave and they invited him to dance as they sang:  

-Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday three;

Thursday, Friday, Saturday six.

Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday three;

Thursday, Friday, Saturday six.

John joined the circle and willingly danced, repeating the song as he did so.  The witches were so pleased that, in exchange, they took the hunch from off his back...
