Gràcia Shrine
Llucmajor

The origin of Gràcia shrine is a cave called S’Aresta, where two hermits went to live in the 15th century. In the course of time, a shrine was built and, in 1501, a school was also added.

The current church stands on the site of an earlier one. Work began on its construction in the 18th century, but it was not completed until 1819. Next to it, there is a lodging house built on the hermits’ former cells.
