This cross was erected in 1956 at the initiative of Father Baltasar Pinya to commemorate the 25 years that he had given mass at Son Sureda and Ses Cabanasses oratories, as shown on the inscription on the pedestal. On one face, it bears the coat of arms of the city and, on the other, Father Pinya’s coat of arms.
