This monument was erected on October 16th 1972 during the commemoration of the 50th anniversary of the death of the Pollença writer Miquel Costa i Llobera.
It was designed by architect Pere Garau Sagristà, who also designed the surrounding area. It consists of a big spiral that seems to rise up into the air, accompanied by a rectangular stone with an inscription.
