This sculpture, made by Joan Maimó in 1945, commemorates the 3rd centenary of Saint Mark (the protector of farmers) being chosen as Sineu’s patron saint. It shows a winged lion, the symbol of this Evangelist, with the town’s coat of arms in his claws.
