Sant Ramon de Penyafort Church was built on land belonging to Es Port estate and it replaced Santa Catalina and Sant Ramon oratories as a place of worship. The building was designed by architect Josep Oleza and its construction began in 1938, continuing until the 1960s with the façade, inaugurated in 1961, and the bell-tower, which was blessed in 1964.
