This statue of Christ, which is much revered in the parish of Santa Eulàlia, is known popularly by two names: Christ of the Conquest in reference to the fact that King James 1st is said to have brought it with him when he conquered Majorca, and Christ of the Miracle. In this second case, this is because according to legend the statue interceded in making a priest absolve a penitent. On both sides of the sculpture, there are two silhouetted figures that represent the priest and penitent.
