Long long ago, the people of Sant Joan built a church, but their money ran out before they could build the bell-tower. They wondered how they could manage to get one without having to pay for it, finally deciding that the best thing was to steal one from a town with a nice tall bell-tower. And they chose Sineu bell-tower, which is prominent and slender. On Wednesdays in Sineu, there is a good market and all the townspeople are busy, with their minds on other things, buying or selling products or eating a tasty frito at the inn.
