In the 1920s and 30s, it was usual to find German film crews in Majorca. The films that they made include Die Schmugglerbraut von Mallorca, a production by UFA starring the popular Jenny Jugo. Cala Sant Vicenç was chosen as the perfect backdrop for this story of romance and smuggling.
