A place of legend!

Back in ancient times, giants lived on Sant Salvador peak in Felanitx. Even today, on the path up to the peak, you can find a huge rock standing beside it. That rock is a little pebble–a giant walking up to the peak took it out of his shoe and chucked it down the mountain.  There is nothing more annoying than a pebble in a shoe. The giant pulled it out and threw it down. The stone is still in the place where the pebble rolled and now it is known as Macolí des Gegant (the Giant’s Pebble).
