Sa Canaleta de Massanella is one of the most important examples of traditional engineering found in the Tramuntana mountains. This water supply system was built to overcome problems with water supplies in Massanella village, leading to the construction of arches to support the water supply channel at Arcs d'en Fontanet, Sa Foradada and S'Arreplegada.
