A place of legend!

Centuries ago, pirates landed by Foradada cave, in Sa Duaia estate in Artà, and they captured a goatherd who was keeping watch over his goats nearby. The pirates were so ravenous that the first thing they did was to pop one of the goats into a pot to eat. The goatherd knew that a fellow goatherd was close by with his herd and to warn him, he started to play his whistle and to sing. As the pirates didn’t understand him, they thought he was giving them a concert and so they let him play. In the town, they swiftly found out what was going on and many flocked to help the goatherd of Sa Duaia. What a quick-witted fellow!
